Promenade Parisienne

Triumphant in front of L'Arc de Triomphe

M. Boullonnois gives an explanation of the Place de la Concorde
It was very fun seeing all of the art exhibited at the Louvre. Many famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa (La Joconde) are housed there, but all of the art is beautiful. There are entire sections of the Louvre dedicated to very specific time periods or places which gives one a very good sense of what art was being created in those times or places, which is very cool. Because of how many works of art there are, it is easy to overlook many of them while trying to see as much as possible in a short time, but upon examination, one can tell that each work of art took a great amount of skill and labor. The Louvre truly is a fascinating place and one has a lot of fun and learns a lot while admiring the art.--Jesse
